Prowler Proof Hinge Window Security Screen has taken out the Australian Glass & Window Association (AGWA) industry award for
Most Innovative Component 2019 at the annual Design Awards ceremony held during AusFenEx19 in Sydney on 29 August 2019.
The judges declared the hinge window security screen, “an excellent example of innovation”, focussing on its hidden multi-point fixing, bushfire compliance and ability to open and/or remove the sash for cleaning and emergency egress as key reasons the product won the award.
Prowler Proof’s Managing Director, Michael Henry and Head of Sales & Marketing, Amanda Old, collected the award on behalf of the whole Prowler Proof team.
“I am very proud of this award and the entire Prowler Proof team. This is a whole team achievement, from the boys on the factory floor, to everyone in the office,” said Michael Henry.
The Prowler Proof Hinge Window Security Screen was released onto the market in March 2019, and has changed the way the industry views operable window screens, with the product incorporating euro-groove hardware, allowing the security screen to be easy to operate, have long term durability, and provide the added benefit of a removeable sash, both for ease of installation by dealers, and convenience for cleaning by homeowners.
